Gentle Ministries began as a small gathering of believers committed to prayer and the Word, and has grown into a multi-faceted ministry spanning church, prophetic training, media, and community outreach. Today, Gentle Ministries serves thousands through Sunday worship, the Prophetic School, Mabesh Online TV and Radio, Mabesh Radio 92.7, Jah-kosh TV, Mabesh Foundation International, and the Mabi Rock Publication.
God made him understand that the name "Gentle" was referred to Jesus Christ as Gentle Jesus, which also means "to sanctify one's life". Jesus Christ is referred to in Isaiah 6:9-10: "He said, Go and tell this people 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving. Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise, they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.'" This he referred to as "the Unslopper", which implies that though people come to God through Jesus Christ, none stumbles through Him. With this understanding he started Gentle Ministries and Prayer Camp in 1995 in Sefwi, in a community called Akaatiso.
To lead the lost to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
That the hidden things of this world are illuminated
That all men will come to know that there is judgement after life so people will have eternal life
That man's dependence on the prophetic ministry as well as the deepest meaning with regards to the fivefold ministry will be explained
To nurture Christian growth through preaching, teaching and fellowship
That mankind will know that unless a corn falls to the ground and dies, man cannot have prosperity in the flesh, soul and spirit
That through this ministry, prayer, intercession and evangelistic work is used to bring salvation and the grace of God to the lost souls of men.
That the glory of God will be seen
That all men will come to know the way of Salvation and be saved
That men will understand the operation of principalities
That men will know the difference between salvation and deliverance
The greatest obligation of this ministry from God Almighty is to preach salvation and to win more souls for Christ's second coming
The church aims to bring peace, unity and stability to the entire world as a whole
To see to the welfare of the needy in society and the world at large - this will lead to building orphanages and others
It is the church's priority to provide social amenities like hospitals, schools, portable water, banks, transportation, roads and more for the benefit of the community
The church aims to bring hidden talents of God for mankind to reality - in view of this, the Christian Movie Industry "Prophetic Vision", the Gospel Music Industry "Great Orchestral Ministry", and a Prophetic College have been established
The church aims to pray fervently as stipulated in the Holy Book and to bring hidden mysteries to light through the gift of revelation ("Realms") - a national prayer tower will be built to accomplish this
The church aims to extend its boundaries across the world through hard work and determination
The church believes in realms and the spiritual levels, from one up to over twenty-eight, which has been dominated by Lucifer and the fallen angels
The church believes in judgement, the second coming of Christ, and the destruction of Lucifer and the fallen angels
